On Wednesday, four-star defensive back Houston Griffith (IMG Academy) released his top 7 schools, and the Nittany Lions were included. Griffith is a Chicago-area transplant to the Bradenton, Fla., prep academy and is ranked the No. 51 overall player in the 2018 class by 247Sports.

PA power move

Pat Chambers' program hosted 2019 power forward Zach Crisler (Glenside, Pa.) for a workout on Wednesday, and the four-star prospect impressed.  Crisler is the No. 82 overall prospect for the 2019 class, according to the 247Sports Composite Ranking.

going mach 5

The Opening Finals in Oregon announced its teams this week, and five Nittany Lion commits or targets will play together on team Mach Speed. Commits Justin Shorter and Ricky Slade will certainly be in the ears of Justin Fields, Solomon Enis and Jack Lamb. Here's hoping the experience and time together pays dividends for James Franklin's squad.
