Hey, Look. Some New Offers For Relatively Local Kids. Isn't That Swell?

First up, a really cool offer: Keaton Ellis, a 2019 defensive back who stands 6' and is not rated on 247Sports yet, as is the case for many 2019 prospects. Why is this one cool? Well, Ellis is the first State College-based prospect to get an offer from the Nittany Lions since Alex Kenney in 2010.

Currently, Ellis' 247Sports Crystal Ball has six predictions. You can probably guess where everyone thinks he's going.

Next up, we have an offer for Julian Fleming, a 2020 wide receiver from Catawissa, Pa. The 2020 class has not been rated quite yet, but dude is 6'3 and 175 pounds and boasts offers from schools like Michigan, Michigan State, and West Virginia.

Ellis attends Southern Columbia High School, a Central Pennsylvania powerhouse.

Who Wants A 7 and 7? *checks notes* oh sorry, penn state hosted a 7-on-7 camp.

Penn State hosted its annual 7-on-7 camp over the weekend. A ton came from the event, which was won by Harrisburg High School. The MVP award was won by – who else? – Micah Parsons.

Anyway, here are some other pictures, tweets, and notes from the weekend.

On that last note, Blue-White Illustrated threw together a video of linebacker workouts from the weekend. Jesse Luketa and Nick Tarburton were both highlighted.

Among those in attendance was Dean Engram, a 2019 receiver/cornerback from Gonzaga College High School in our nation's capital. If his last name is familiar, it's because his dad is Bobby Engram. Congratulations, we're all old!

Engram is not rated on 247Sports yet, but his four Crystal Ball predictions have him going to Penn State. He's listed at 5'10, 160 pounds.

If you're interested in more detailed notes on the event, head over to Land of 10 for a full recap from Tyler Donohue.
