Penn State offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead, the man who has turbocharged the Nittany Lions’ offense into one of the nation’s most explosive, introduced a new menu item to that offensive attack on Tuesday night.
Moorhead, referred to frequently as Coach Tuddies on this website (we apologize if you or your friends don’t like fun), participated in some joking banter with one of the weirdest Penn State-themed social media accounts around: PSUToaster.
What’s PSUToaster? Onward State named the account one of the strangest Penn State-related social accounts recently:
More famously known as Joe Patoasterno, the Penn State Twitter toaster that claims to “just make toast with the PSU logo” does so much more than that.
So, PSUToaster tweets pictures of toast with the Penn State logo at people, places and organizations. Got that? Well, on Tuesday night, PSUToaster tweeted at Moorhead, an accomplished coordinator, a former head coach and a hot future head coaching candidate in college football:
Hey @BallCoachJoeMo would you like some toast with the psu logo on it?
Moorhead, who has fun on Twitter with followers, answered. Boy, did he ever answer:
@PSUtoaster— Coach Joe Moorhead (@BallCoachJoeMo) April 19, 2017
Tuddie Toast, as it were?
Moorhead, who may or may not be the owner of an official Roar Lions Roar “Tuddies” T-shirt (We have no further comment at this time. –Ed.), made a lot of opponents feel like toast in 2016, hitting them with splash plays and touchdowns. Like this:
ALL. HE. DOES. IS. MAKE. TUDDIES. pic.twitter.com/HwXWXBWHKj— Roar Lions Roar (@RLRblog) January 3, 2017
Oh, and this:
With Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and potential top-10 NFL pick Saquon Barkley and possible Heisman candidate Trace McSorley returning to throw flames in 2017, there’s a chance a lot of opponents will become Tuddie Toast on Penn State’s schedule.
