After only two years, Pitt and head basketball coach Kevin Stallings have parted ways. Stallings, who was brought in from Vanderbilt after the Panthers let Jamie Dixon head to TCU (where he has turned the Horned Frogs into an NCAA Tournament team in his short tenure), went 24-41 overall and 4-32 in the ACC in his two seasons in Oakland. His buyout is expected to be somewhere near $10 million unless negotiations to bring the number down were reached.
With Stallings' departure, we bid farewell to one of the greatest tweets ever conceived on the Twitter platform, courtesy of our own Chad Markulics.
