Well, I'm back. After the Pitt game, I spent a some time wandering the streets while listening to the sad walking away music from The Incredible Hulk on repeat. When I got back, I perused some other team message boards to cheer myself up, but to be honest, the offerings were a little dull. Temple football boards were nonexistent, Michigan boards were boring, and Minnesota boards were too dang nice.
But Maryland? Maryland boards are none of those things. They are the very definition of mad online, especially when it comes to Penn State football.
How mad, you ask? Well...
That is 131 pages, 3,258 posts, and almost two years of pent up rage. Have I mentioned that the people who inhabit these message boards are also clinically insane? I only mention that, because, well...
Hoooooooooooooo boy. Requesting a terrorist bombing of a rival's (shut up) stadium, even with nobody inside, might just be a bit much. Hopefully that guy really enjoys being on a watch list or five. On the plus side, there's no way it can get worse than this, right?
OH COME THE HELL ON. Here are a few slightly less terrible posts, because there's NO way it can get worse than that.
I can't wait for Thanos to wield the Infinity Hatred Gauntlet in the next Avengers movie.
And this is where it all goes to Hell again.
This is, of course, in reference to Joey Julius' recently publicized struggles with binge eating disorder. This guy, much like Maryland football, is the worst. THE WORST.
