Former five-star recruit Max Browne has decided to use the NCAA's graduate transfer rule to move from USC, where he lost his job to redshirt freshman Sam Darnold after a 1-3 start to the 2016 season, to Pittsburgh. Browne will be eligible to play immediately in 2017. The Panthers, who are losing current starter Nathan Peterman to graduation, will probably call upon Browne to be guy next season. He'll have one game against Youngstown State to run the offense at game speed before coming to Beaver Stadium to take on Penn State on September 9th.
