On Tuesday, the Rutgers football program received a Notice of Allegations from the NCAA detailing seven violations that occurred under the watch of former head coach Kyle Flood, the most serious being "failure to monitor" the program.

Some of the charges stem back to Flood contacting professors about players' grades which led to his firing in 2015. Additional evidence showed that possibly up to 16 players were allowed to remain eligible to play after failing the school's mandated drug testing.
