On the even of his sixth season in Oxford with Ole Miss, Hugh Freeze has suddenly resigned as the Rebels head coach. According to the USA Today report from Dan Wolken, Freeze appears to have contacted an escort service using his university provided cell phone. In a cruel twist of fate, the revelation was uncovered as part of former coach Houston Nutt's lawsuit against the school.

Offensive line coach Matt Luke will take over on an interim basis.
