On Monday, Notre Dame and Wisconsin are set to announce a two-game series for 2020-21, but it comes with a catch.
Notre Dame players won't tap the "Play Like A Champion Today" sign in South Bend.
Nobody will "Jump Around" at Camp Randall.
No, the series between the Fighting Irish and Badgers will take place at Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers, in 2020, and Soldier Field, home of the Chicago Bears, in 2021. It sucks that two storied programs will play in lifeless NFL stadiums, but it's a way to get extra money and extra eyes on the product in today's age.
Do these neutral-site games take away from the grandeur and tradition of college football or do you not mind as long as there are two teams on the field? Tell us in the comments.
