Former Penn State commit Justin Fields is transferring to Ohio State.
The number one dual-threat quarterback and second overall player in the 2018 class flipped from the Nittany Lions to the Georgia Bulldogs the summer before his senior year.
Fields was unable to supplant Jake Fromm as the Bulldogs starter, completing 27 passes for 328 yards and four touchdowns in mostly mop-up duty this season.
It is unknown if Fields will be granted a waiver and deemed eligible to play immediately. If he is granted immediate eligibility, he would likely be the Buckeye's starter in 2019, as Dwayne Haskins has declared for the NFL Draft.
