Justin Fields has been granted a transfer waiver by the NCAA, meaning he is eligible to play immediately for the Ohio State Buckeyes after transferring from Georgia.

A former five-star prospect and one time Penn State commit, Fields spent his freshman backing up Jake Fromm for his hometown Bulldogs.

Fields is expected to be the starting quarterback for the Buckeyes, as they look to move on from likely first-round pick Dwayne Haskins.
