Ohio State is losing yet another quarterback with redshirt freshman Matthew Baldwin entering the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Baldwin is the third scholarship quarterback to leave Columbus since the start of the calendar year, as Dwayne Haskins declared for the draft and Tate Martell announced that he will transfer to Miami.
A four-star prospect out of Texas, Baldwin's departure certainly comes as a result of former five-star quarterback Justin Fields transfer to Ohio State. While Fields may be an upgrade at the top of the depth chart, he has thinned out the Buckeye's quarterback room in a way few could have expected.
Ohio State is down to just two scholarship quarterbacks on the roster and just three overall.
