Former Florida State quarterback Deondre Francois will transfer to Florida Atlantic University, according to a report by 247Sports.

Francois was dismissed from the Seminoles' football team in February after a video of a domestic dispute between him and his girlfriend surfaced on social media.

Francois looked like a superstar in the making following a strong freshman campaign that saw him throw for 3350 yards and 20 touchdowns. He suffered a devasting lower-body injury in the 2017 season opener against Alabama, forcing him to miss the remainder of the season. He struggled in his return last season, appearing in 11 games and throwing for 15 touchdowns against 12 interceptions.

He will be eligible immediately as a graduate transfer and will have two years of eligibility remaining after being granted a medical redshirt for the aforementioned 2017 season.
