After a tumultuous three and a half seasons, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights have parted ways with head coach Chris Ash.

Ash was hired by Rutgers after spending two years as Ohio State's co-defensive coordinator, winning a National Championship with the Buckeyes in 2014.

He went 8-32 and won just three Big Ten games during his time in Piscataway. The Scarlet Knights have not won a conference game since the 2017 season.

Offensive coordinator and Penn State letterman John McNulty was also shown the door.

Tight ends coach Nunzio Campanile (surprisingly not a Sopranos character) will serve as interim head coach.
