The Illinois Fighting Illini may have pulled the biggest upset of the college football season with their 24-23 win over the sixth-ranked Wisconsin Badgers.

Illinois quarterback Brandon Peters didn't have his best day, completing just nine of his 21 pass attempts, but did throw a pair of scores. Running backs Reggie Corbin and Dre Brown combined for 153 yards against a Badger defense that was allowing just 44.7 yards per game, tops in the country.
Jonathan Taylor was his usual self for Wisconsin, rushing for 128 yards and one touchdown, but the Badgers failed to do much of anything else offensively. A fourth-quarter pick thrown by Jack Coan was ultimately the play that set up the Illinois field goal.
The Badgers fall to 6-1 and almost certainly will lose their spot in the top 15, while Illinois improves to 3-4, with new life in their quest for bowl eligibility.
