Update: D'Eriq King will transfer to Miami, per his Twitter.

Houston quarterback D'Eriq King has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.

King set an American Athletic Conference record in 2018 with 50 total touchdowns responsible for, despite missing a few games with a lower-body injury.

He opted to shut it down after a 1-3 start to the 2019 season under new head coach Dana Holgerson, maintaining his redshirt in the process.

He finishes his Houston career with 4925 passing yards, 1421 rushing yards, and 504 receiving yards. His athleticism should allow him to make an instant impact at whatever school he ends up at.

He will be eligible immediately as a graduate transfer and have one year of eligibility remaining.
