The University of Georgia's top pass catcher, junior wide receiver George Pickens, has suffered an ACL injury and could miss the entire 2021 season.

A five-star prospect in the 2019 class, Pickens made an instant impact for the Dawgs, hauling in nearly 50 catches for 727 yards and eight scores as a true freshman. He followed that up with a 36 catch, 513 yard, and six touchdown campaign in 2020, putting him on track to surpass his 2019 totals had the Bulldogs played a normal 12-game season.

It is possible he could return to the Dawgs late in the season, but this isn't the type of injury you want to hurry back from. Georgia opens their season on September 4 with a neutral site game against Clemson.
