I hadn't been to a game since 2014, but that was the biggest crowd I ever remember seeing for a men's basketball game. Really good atmosphere for a Sunday noon game at the end of a break.
And speaking of not having been to a game since 2014, that tournament game against Minnesota was the worst basketball game I've ever seen. Please don't make me sit through that level of terrible on a work night, please.

You must have missed the 2011 PSU-Wisconsin Big Ten tourney game. 36-33 win, but it was like 18-2 ten minutes into the game.

I watched the first basketball game of my life November of the following year in the BJ Center.
Lucky. I was in Indy for that abomination and I still have the scars.
Yeah how lucky of me to witness that 12-13 season as my intro to the sport. Thank god for the women's team that year.
That game was absolutely gorgeous, I don't know what you're talking about. If I recall was I at home for Spring Break watching with my dad, both just completely baffled at what we were watching but strangely enjoying it.
Never forget Virginia owes us a home game
I was there, I swore at the refs, I spent 40 hours on buses to and from Indy that week.
edit: it occurs to me that you are referring to the 2011 game and not the 2014 game, but I can't delete comments.
There are so many levels to that one. It was the last game of the day, so there were maybe 2500 people left in the building. PSU gets out to like a 20-2 lead, and then scores 16 points in the last 30 minutes, yet still wins.
