This play is the coolest thing Derek Moye ever did, and still one of my favorite plays by a Penn State WR ever.

Little brain: get a first down by going 10 yards
Big brain: bypass the first down by getting a tuddy
Galaxy brain: get a first down by turning the ball over then forcing a turnover at the original line of scrimmage
"Maybe I'm just a dumb defensive coach"
The top four are hard to argue with although some would try to put Hamler ahead of Hamilton. I wouldn't. At number five, I have Justin Brown, not Moye. I would consider putting Geno Lewis ahead of Moye as well.
Success with honor
I think the Geno argument is an easy one to make, but Justin Brown? Moye almost had more receiving yards in 2010 alone than Brown did in 2011 and 2012 combined. Moye also got in the endzone 11 times in the 2010s and Brown only 3 times.
Brown never reached his full potential here, but I’m curious to hear what argument you can make for him over Moye.
While I agree that Brown didn't hit his potential in State College, I would argue that he was the only receiver on the 2010 and 11 teams that defensed game planned for. Not quite the same but In a similar situation, Deon Butler was a good player, but most of his records were the result of the attention Derrick Williams drew every time he set foot on the field. Numbers aren't everything and tend to be highly misleading when not put in context.
Numbers aren’t everything, no, but I think you’re vastly overrating how much teams game planned against a raw receiver who dropped several passes. Teams game plan around top receivers every week. You think teams didn’t game plan to stop ARob or KJ?
