Former Penn State running back Miles Sanders dominated the NFL Scouting Combine on Friday, skyrocketing his draft stock in the process.

the measurables

Sanders checks in at the perfect size for a modern NFL back.

40-yard dash

Sanders' official time ended up as a 4.49. That's tied for the sixth best among running backs. He is the heaviest out of the three backs to run that time.

strength drills

Those 20 reps were 14th-most among running backs. Sanders also finished with a 36' vertical jump and a 10'4" broad jump, both good for sixth in the running back group.

On-field drills

The on-field drills give backs a chance to show scouts exactly how they move. Sanders has to be happy with his performance here, being one of just three backs to appear in both of these top fives.

saquon Simulcast

The NFL put together this pretty cool side by side view of Sanders' forty alongside Saquon Barkley's. Barkley's was a bit faster, but Sanders should be impressed with his time nonetheless.

"best in show"

NFL Network commentator and former Ravens scout Daniel Jeremiah showered Sanders with praise, calling him the most impressive back on Friday.
