As the third round rapidly went by, Connor McGovern sat, waited, and could only hope his name was called. At a get together at the infamous Broadway Tavern in Mountain Top, PA, friends and family gathered and waited in anticipation. With the 90th selection in the draft, McGovern's phone rang and on the other end was the Dallas Cowboys informing him that he was the newest member of their team. Steve Lloyd of WNEP-TV 16 captured the moment.

Though McGovern knew his fate, they had to wait for the official announcement.

Steve Bennett of the Citizen's Voice also posted a video of the official announcement.

Everyone loves a good "Rad Dad" moment, and McGovern's father Jim basked in the glory of his son being drafted.

The Cowboys tweeted a video from their end and Cowboys owner (gross teeth) Jerry Jones got on the horn.

Penn State offensive lineman Steven Gonzalez took to Twitter and showed that even off of the field, the offensive line is a close knit group.
