Former Penn State wide receiver KJ Hamler has signed a rookie contract with the Denver Broncos. The Broncos selected Hamler in the second round (46th overall) in the virtual 2020 NFL Draft.

The speedy receiver was drafted back in April, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, has not had a spring or summer camp like players in years past. As NFL camps begin in the coming days, he will be in Denver to showcase his talents.

Hamler was one of the most exciting players in recent Nittany Lion history. Last season, he had eight touchdowns on 56 receptions and totaled 904 receiving yards. Though he had many memorable plays in his career, his touchdown catch against Michigan sparked an offense that had gone stagnant and gave the Nittany Lions a 14-point lead. Oh, hey, speaking of.

Best of luck KJ in your NFL career!
