Penn State's solid 2021 NFL Draft continued with center Michal Menet being selected by the Arizona Cardinals. He was taken in the seventh round with the 247th overall pick. He goes back-to-back after teammate Shaka Toney was selected one spot earlier by Washington.

Menet arrived in Happy Valley as one of the headliners of the 2016 recruiting class. The high-four start prospect out of Exeter Township in Reading, PA redshirted his first year on campus, before appearing in 12 games as a reserve in 2017. He took over the starting center job in 2018, and made 33 starts over the next three seasons, missing only two games due to injury.

While Menet did not reach the level of stardom many expected as a high-profile recruit, he became one of the most solid and reliable offensive lineman of the James Franklin era, and quickly established himself as a veteran leader once entering the lineup, being named a captain in both 2019 and 2020.

It is that reliably and solid all-around game that figure to keep him in the NFL for several years to come.
