Former Penn State Tight End Jesse James Signs One-Year Deal with Chicago Bears

Former Penn State tight end Jesse James has signed The signing was first reported by NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

James was a second-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers back in 2015 and would spend four seasons with the team. He spent the past two seasons with the Detroit Lions and caught 32 balls for 271 yards and two touchdowns during that span.

James spent three seasons with the Nittany Lions, recording 78 receptions for 1,005 yards, and 11 touchdowns. Arguably his biggest play came in the 2012 season finale when he scored the go-ahead touchdown against Wisconsin.
