Former Penn State wide receiver Jahan Dotson has been selected by the Washington Commanders with the No. 16 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. He becomes the first Penn State wide receiver drafted in the first round since 2003 when the Arizona Cardinals selected Bryant Johnson.

Dotson left Penn State fourth in career receiving yards (2,757), second in career touchdowns (25) and holds the program record for yards in a single game when he lit Maryland up for 242 yards in November of 2021.

He joins Saquon Barkley, Miles Sanders, and Micah Parsons as former Penn State stars in the NFC East.

Best of luck in Washington, Jahan!
