Arnold Ebiketie's time at Penn State was brief, but he sure made the most of it. The former Nittany Lion defensive end was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons (No. 38 overall) in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Ebiketie came to Penn State through the transfer portal from Temple in December 2020, and his impact for the Nittany Lions was immediate. In the season-opening game against Wisconsin, he made seven tackles, including two for a loss, a sack, and a blocked field goal when points seemed imminent for the Badgers. Ebiketie finished the season as Penn State's leader in tackles for loss (18) and sacks (9.5).
He adds a much-needed edge presence for the Falcons, who are in the middle of a massive rebuild. For Falcons fans, they are hoping for an immediate impact much like former Nittany Lions Micah Parsons and Odafe Oweh provided for their respective teams in 2021.
