Former Penn State All-American safety Jaquan Brisker was selected by the Chicago Bears with the No. 48 overall pick in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Brisker came to Penn State in 2019 after an All-American JUCO stint at Lackawanna C.C. He was a standout high school player at Gateway High School in the WPIAL and even served as a water boy when current Penn State coach Terry Smith was the head coach. In 2021, Brisker lived up to the preseason hype by making 48 tackles, six tackles for loss and two interceptions. His game-sealing interception in the opener against Wisconsin set the tone for the defense for the entire season.

The Bears will turn to Brisker immediately to help out in the secondary because you can never have enough depth in a pass-happy league.
