Former Penn State defensive end/linebacker Jesse Luketa heard his named called in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL draft when the Cardinals selected him with the No. 256 overall pick. The Canadian native came to Penn State in 2018 after he finished his high school career at Mercyhurst Preparatory School (PA).

In his final season, Luketa finished with 61 tackles of which 8.5 were for loss and tacked on a half-sack. Luketa switched from linebacker to defensive end for the majority of the 2021 season after Adisa Isaac suffered a season-ending injury. In his final game in the Outback Bowl against Arkansas, Luketa shined and had nine tackles including one for a loss.

Best of luck Jesse and let's remember his Tuddie from 2021 against Ball State.
