Former Penn State defensive tackle has signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent.

Tangelo spent just one season in Happy Valley after spending the first four years of his college career with the Duke Blue Devils. While in Durham, Tangelo started 27 games and logged 114 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, four sacks, and forced five fumbles.

With the Nittany Lions, he registered 29 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, and forced one fumble. He took on a larger role than expected following the injury to PJ Mustipher - holding things together until the younger guys on the roster could begin to shoulder more of the load.

He joins fellow former Penn State transfer addition Arnold Ebiketie in Atlanta.
