The Minnesota native began his collegiate career at Harvard where he was an All-Ivy League performer. He transferred to Penn State following the cancelation of the 2020 season in the Ivy League and took control of a starting job just a few drives into the 2021 campaign. While he looked rusty at times due to not seeing game action for over a year, he showed enough for an NFL team to give him a shot at making their club.
The Nittany Lions have had success getting undrafted guys roster spots on the Saints - with Blake Gillikin and Juwan Johnson both having had roles with the club this past season.
