With the impact of Coronavirus forcing all professional sports to adjust, the PLL has come up with a good solution to still have a season. Meaning, Penn State fans will get a chance to see Ament back in action during the peak of summer. It is basically going to be a lacrosse camp for most of the world’s best players. All seven teams will play a round-robin format of four games with random matchups drawn in June.
Then the teams will be seeded and play a single-elimination tournament with the top-seed getting a bye. It’ll be a fanless, quarantined affair but with the whole season taking place from July 25 to August 2, the players won’t be away from home for an extended period. So, in a little over two months Ament will be adapting to his new surroundings and trying to make his mark at the professional level for the first time.
