On a Wednesday afternoon Zoom call, Sandy Barbour revealed that 102 Penn State student-athletes have been tested for COVID-19 since athletes began returning to campus, with zero positive results.
AD Sandy Barbour on Zoom said PSU will report testing results every 2 weeks. First update coming right now.— Audrey Snyder (@audsnyder4) July 1, 2020
102 student-athletes tested as of June 30, Barbour said. Zero positives of the 102 tests.
Barbour also said the department is still working on a seating plan for this fall but you will likely need to be a season ticket holder to be able to attend games if in-person seating is possible.
Penn State is the third Big Ten East school to report zero positive COVID-19 test results among its first round of testing, joining Indiana and Maryland.
Barbour announced that test results will be made public every two weeks going forward.
