For the second time in a week, Penn State has secured the commitment of a 2022 center.

After the commitment of four-star big man Kebba Njie on Saturday, three-star Demetrius Lilley announced his intention to join the Nittany Lions on Tuesday. He brings Penn State’s 2022 class up to five commits.
Lilley, who plays for Lower Merion High School in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, is the No. 39 center in the 2022 class according to 247Sports Composite and the No. 7-ranked player in Pennsylvania.
2022 Lower Merion (PA) PF/C Demetrius Lilley has committed to Penn State. Gives the Nittany Lions a skilled big with the ability to space the floor + make decisions with the ball in his hands. He earned his offer from Penn State on Aug. 23 after taking an unofficial visit on Aug. 5. He then took an official visit on Sept. 10.
In addition to Penn State, the 6-foot-10, 230-pound big man also held offers from Texas A&M, Bryant, East Carolina, La Salle and Saint Joseph's.
While Penn State did not land the highly-touted local product Dereck Lively II — he chose Duke over the Nittany Lions, Kentucky, North Carolina, and others on Monday — Micah Shrewsberry and his staff were efficient in identifying alternatives. Njie and Lilley will now come into what was a bare-looking front court in 2022-23.
Lilley has been one of the more productive big men around; no matter where he's played, who he's gone up against, a double-double has been a common result. Under-the-radar but PSU fans are really going to like what he brings to the table. https://t.co/KBBzSLlDmo

All eyes now turn toward next Friday as one of Penn State's top 2022 targets Otega Oweh announces his college destination. The primary competition for Micah Shrewsberry and his staff appears to be Oklahoma. More info on Oweh's looming commitment decision can be found here.
