Washington, originally from Williamsport, PA, was seldom used, logging only five minutes per contest in 2016-17 and averaging less than one point, rebound and assist a game. He'll head to the MAAC to play under former Villanova assistant coach Baker Dunleavy. Penn State coach Pat Chambers, another former Wildcat staffer, helped Washington with the transfer process, Washington told the New Haven Register on Sunday.
