Nazeer Bostick will miss Saturday's game at Notre Dame due to suspension after the sophomore was charged with marijuana possession on Thursday, according to Penn State police. The story was first reported by the Centre Daily Times.
Campus police responded to an odor of marijuana in Bostick's apartment and allegedly observed a lit weed cigarette in the window sill. Upon entry a bag of the drug and other paraphernalia was found in Bostick's bedroom, according to police. Bostick stated the items belonged to a guest.
In any case, the sophomore guard will serve a suspension for Penn State's St. Patrick's Day tilt in South Bend (Noon, ESPN). Bostick scored 12 points in the Nittany Lions' 63-57 win over Temple on Wednesday. He is averaging 4.9 points per game on 43% shooting for the season.
