Per a report in the Daily Collegian, Penn State forward Mike Watkins was cited for disorderly conduct for his role in a fight. The incident occurred on Sept. 29 and Watkins is awaiting a plea. In June, Watkins was charged for possession of drug paraphernalia.

In 2017-18, Watkins served a suspension to open the season for an undisclosed violation of team rules. He suffered a knee injury late in the season, which caused him to miss the Big Ten Tournament and the NIT. He averaged 12.1 points, 8.9 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game last year over 29 games.

Pat Chambers and the rest of the Nittany Lions are scheduled to meet with the media later today as part of media day for the basketball program.
