Sporting throwback pink and black uniforms in front of the largest home crowd of the season, Penn State upset No. 13 Virginia Tech 63-62 on Tuesday night. The win is the first non-conference ranked victory in Patrick Chambers' tenure at PSU, and the first top-25 non-conference win by the Lions since Joe Crispin and company upset No. 22 Kentucky on the road in the 2000-01 season.

Behind the return of Mike Watkins, a career-high 18 points from true freshman Myreon Jones, and a 14-point, eight-rebound performance from Lamar Stevens, the Lions held off the dynamic and annoying Hokies to capture the victory. The win put the Big Ten up 2-1 in the B10/ACC Challenge, and moved the Lions to 4-2 on the year.

Keep it locked to RLR for an in-depth recap and analysis on this significant victory.
