Josh Reaves is doing his best to force the Dallas Mavericks into a difficult decision. Through three NBA Summer League games in Las Vegas, Reaves is averaging 11 points and 6 rebounds per game. His numbers are on the rise considering a terrible debut last Friday, which featured a 1-for-9 shooting performance and just 2 points in 23 minutes. On Saturday, Reaves rebounded (nyuk, nyuk) for 13 and 3 in just 18 minutes. He followed up that performance with 18 and 10 in 23 minutes on Monday.

And the highlights? Well, they're typical Reaves. Jaw-dropping athleticism with excellent court awareness. Check these out:

Shortly after the 2019 NBA Draft concluded, Josh Reaves signed an Exhibit 10 Contract with the Mavericks, which is a one-year deal at league minimum salary, with up to a $50k bonus if he's waived and signed to the Dallas G-League affiliate. The contract also comes with an guaranteed camp invite, and in Reaves' case, a spot on the Mavs summer league squad in Vegas. If he keeps performing like this, he could play himself into a two-way contract or get picked up by another NBA team.

Reaves and the Summer League Mavs take the court on Wednesday afternoon against Croatia. The game is on ESPNU at 3:30 p.m.

Update: Reaves led the Mavs with 15 points while also adding three rebounds and two assists in a 79-71 win. He continued to make highlight reels with plays like these.
