Penn State sophomore forward Seth Lundy added his name to the NCAA transfer portal on Tuesday, bringing the number of Nittany Lions evaluating their options with other schools to six. Lundy was third on the team in scoring in his second season out of Philadelphia's Roman Catholic High School.

Lundy experienced a truly roller-coaster ride during the 2020-21 pandemic-altered season. He torched VCU and Maryland to the tune of 32 and 31 points, respectively, and basically carried PSU to win both games. He also failed to reach double figured in 11 of the team's final 13 games. His scoring ability will certainly draw plenty of interest, as teams know they can help him improve his consistency and defense.
Hopefully, Penn State coach Micah Shrewsberry will also get a chance to re-recruit Lundy (and all the players in the portal). If he's able, it will be a significant sign to the Philly hoops scene that the new head boss can maintain the pipeline established by the previous regime.
