Penn State forward Seth Lundy has reportedly his name from the NCAA Transfer Portal and will return to the Nittany Lions next season. Lions247's Mark Brennan was the first to report the news.

Lundy averaged 10.1 points and 4.2 rebounds this past season, good for third-best on the team in both categories. He had stretches where he was one of the most dominant scorers in the Big Ten, but had more than a handful of games where he was a non-factor on the offensive end.

The rising junior is one of the Nittany Lions who could most benefit from playing under Micah Shrewsberry. Penn State's new head coach has done a great job developing some of the best young wings at the NBA level.

Lundy joins Izaiah Brockington as Nittany Lions to withdraw their names from the portal and return to Penn State. Guards Jamari Wheeler (Ohio State) and Myreon Jones (Florida), as well as forwards Trent Buttrick (UMass) and Patrick Kelly (Fordham) have already committed to new schools. Forward John Harrar remains undecided about his future.
