Penn State has made the signing of transfer forward Greg Lee official.
The 6-foot-9 big man, previously of Western Michigan, announced his commitment to the Nittany Lions on Sunday.
"Greg is going to be a great addition to our program," head coach Micah Shrewsberry said in a release. "He will provide a veteran presence and add more experience to our front line. His versatility and ability to score the ball in a variety of ways will be really helpful in our system. More importantly, he is a gym rat who will constantly push himself and his teammates to become better."
Lee averaged 13 points and 7.2 rebounds per game at Western Michigan this past season to earn honorable mention All-MAC recognition. He previously played at Cal State Bakersfield, where he averaged 4.9 points and 3 rebounds per game over three seasons with the Roadrunners.
He joins Penn State with one year of eligibility remaining.
That makes four transfer additions for Shrewsberry and his staff this offseason. Lee's arrival follows the additions of guards Jaheam Cornwall and Jalen Pickett, and forward Jevonnie Scott.
