Penn State announced the addition of 6-foot-8 grad transfer Jalanni White on Friday.
White joins the Nittany Lions from Canisius, where he spent the first four years of his college career, starting 50 starts.
"We are excited that Jalanni decided to join our family," head coach Micah Shrewsberry said in a release. "He is an experienced player who will fit in nicely with our current group. His toughness, skill, length and athleticism will help us become a better team on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor."
The New Haven, Connecticut, native averages career marks of 5.1 points and 2.6 rebounds per game and adds another body to the Penn State frontcourt.
As a junior, White averaged 7 points and 3.4 rebounds per game while shooting 54.2 percent from the field, which marked the eighth-best shooting season in Canisius history.
He earned MAAC All-Tournament Team honors as a sophomore after averaging 13.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per contest in two MAAC Tournament games.
White becomes the fifth transfer addition this offseason for Shrewsberry and Penn State, following the additions of Jaheam Cornwall, Greg Lee, Jalen Pickett and Jevonnie Scott.
