The first nonconference slate for Penn State head coach Micah Shrewsberry has been unveiled.
Shrewsberry and Penn State will play 11 nonconference games, with seven of those coming at home at the Bryce Jordan.
The Nittany Lions open up the 2021-22 campaign at home against Youngstown State on Nov. 10. They follow that up with a trip to UMass on Nov. 15 to take on old friend Trent Buttrick and the Minutemen.
Penn State will host two of its four games in the Emerald Coast Classic against St. Francis Brooklyn and Cornell on Nov. 18 and Nov. 22, respectively. The final two games as part of that early season tournament features matchups with LSU (Nov. 26) and then Oregon State or Wake Forest (Nov. 27).
After the Nittany Lions return from that tournament, another big game awaits against Miami FL. in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.
They'll then close out the nonconference schedule with four games: vs. Wagner (Dec. 8), at VCU (Dec. 18), vs Quinnipiac (Dec. 22) and vs. Delaware State (Dec. 29)
