hi, harrison

Penn State's bye week is perfectly positioned to allow James Franklin and staff to pull out all the stops for the season's biggest recruiting weekend. Regardless of the date, the Michigan game was always going to be a magnet for prospects from around the nation. Having an extra week to line up visits, send out offers, and get face time with recruits could be invaluable. The work is already paying off as Sean Fitz of Lions247 wrote that five-star 2019 defensive end Zach Harrison (Lewis Center, OH) will be in attendance for the primetime matchup. Conventional wisdom has Harrison ending up at Ohio State, but it's never a bad thing to get the nation's No. 4 overall player on campus.

no-fly zone future?

The class of 2020's top-rated cornerback pulled down an offer from the Nittany Lions Wednesday. Four-star Sheridan Jones (Virginia Beach) already boasts a ridiculous offer list, including Ohio State, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, FSU, LSU, Georgia, and Virginia Tech.

bye week is bananas

Tim Owen of Rivals wrote about the hectic schedule facing Franklin and his staff, even though the Lions are off this week. The head boss and assistants are heading all over the country to visit prospects. Fitz chimed in with the Class of 2019 names to know, as the staff builds momentum toward the Michigan game and the next recruiting cycle.
