Official visit Weekend

Plenty of committed recruits and a few big uncommitted targets took their official visits this past weekend. Check out some of their highlights in Happy Valley. 

Slade Gatorade player of the year 

Penn State running back commit Ricky Slade was named the 2017 Gatorade Virginia Player of Year. The C.D. Hylton School product is the No. 1 player in the country of Virginia and No. 21 in the nation. 

Long Snapper Kevin Cahill is also joining the team as a walk-on in the Class of 2018. The Summit, N.J. native stands at 6-foot-1, 212-pounds.

first offer of 2021

The Nittany Lions also sent out their first offer in the class of 2021 to safety Derrick Davis from Gateway High. The 6-foot, 175-pound player got the chance to visit Penn State for the Michigan Game, telling Rivals' Adam Friedman about his experience. Davis also holds an offer from Pitt.

Hoops offer

Gonzaga High School star Chuck Harris picked up an offer from the Nittany Lions over the weekend. The class of 2020 athlete is a 6-foot-1 160-pound point guard and teammates with 2018 PSU signee Myles Dread. Check out some of his highlights below
