Jayson Oweh back in town
When Penn State offered Jayson Oweh a scholarship back in April, they were one of the first major programs to do so. By the end of May, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and a host of others had joined in, and Oweh's transformation into perhaps the fastest rising prospect in the country was complete.
Following a May visit to State College, Oweh came away very impressed with what the Nittany Lions have to offer. However, with that increased attention came visits to other programs, notably Ohio State and Notre Dame. In fact, following a visit to Columbus last month, Oweh said the Buckeyes had pushed to the top of his list.
Now, with this weekend's camp slate, and Lasch Bash event, Oweh will be back in town for the first time in two months, giving James Franklin and the staff their first chance to remind the New Jersey native of everything he and his family loved about Happy Valley.

Despite Ohio State being named a favorite, Penn State still controls the 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions, though Sean Fitz calls it a "toss up".
More bash visitors
Yesterday's FtF named several big names expected this weekend for the premier Penn State recruiting event of the summer. Tom VanHaaren confirmed several more visitors on Tuesday, including four-star prospects P.J. Mustipher, Kwantel Raines, Daniel George, and three-star receiver Shaquon Anderson-Butts

Four-star defensive end Brandon Smith will also be on-hand this weekend, after confirming his visit with Roar Lions Roar. Check back towards the end of the week for a full primer for Smith's visit, and what he's hoping to get out of the weekend. In the meantime, you can see what he had to say in talking with Tyler Donohue of Land of 10.
