Oweh Schedules Official
Jayson Oweh has been one of the fastest-rising prospects in the entire 2018 class. Penn State was on him relatively early in the process, and he's repaid that interest by including them among his final top schools.
Now, with his process beginning to wind down, he's scheduled his official visit to Happy Valley to take place when Nebraska visits State College on the weekend of November 18. With it coming so late in the season, it's possible that this will be one of, if not the last official visit for Oweh.

Oweh's other top contenders are Ohio State and Notre Dame. Steve Wiltfong from 247Sports has more from Oweh and his thoughts about that upcoming visit.
A decision from the four-star prospect is expected on Jan. 4 at the Under Armour All-America Game in Orlando.
Smith Sets Commit Date
Tyreke Smith is another monster on Penn State's wish list of defensive linemen. It's safe to assume that the Ohio-native will end up with either the Nittany Lions or the Buckeyes, but the four-star isn't quite ready to make that decision yet. He announced via The Athletic that he's also decided to announce his verbal commitment while at the Under Armor All-America Game.
Smith's rationale on his date-
“I figured that I worked very hard to make it to that game, so I thought it would be pretty cool to commit at a venue like that,” Smith said.
Smith is the No. 55 overall player in the country according to the 247Sports Composite and the No. 3 weakside defensive end. His Crystal Ball currently favors Ohio State (100% on 20 predictions).
Freiermuth Heading Back to Town
In what should be a common occurrence throughout the season, at least one of Penn State's current commits will be in town for the team's opener against Akron. Tight end Pat Freiermuth will make the trek down to Happy Valley from Massachusetts. While it's unlikely that Freiermuth will join the Connor McGovern/Mike Miranda club of visiting for every home due to the school's distance from home, it's nice to see the four-star make the effort to be there for the opening day festivities.
