Visitor List

This will be a running segment in For the Future all throughout the week as names are added to this list. Suffice to say, it's going to be quite the recruiting event. Take a look at some of the names already scheduled to be in attendance to watch Penn State take on Michigan under the lights for the Whiteout.

2019 4-Star WR Kendrell Scurry

2020 5-Star DE Bryan Bresee

2020 4-Star CB Sheridan Jones

2018 Commit 3-Star S Isaiah Humphries

2019 S Dylan Farronato

(Hoops) 2018 3-Star SF Jared Rhoden

Keep checking on Roar Lions Roar this week to stay up to date with all of the confirmed visitors.

New Offers

The coaching staff used the bye week not only as a chance to both check in on recruits by seeing them play but as a chance to send out some new offers, as well. Take a look at the newly-offered recruits

2019 3-Star CB Jalen Alexander (Grayson, GA)

2019 4-Star OLB Kevin Harris (Grayson, GA)

Alexander has been garnering interest from a host of high-powered SEC and ACC schools. He's also been offered by a number of Big Ten programs. He's currently ranked as the No. 45 cornerback in his class.

Harris is a slightly bigger name, being a four-star recruit. The No. 101 overall player in his class according to the 247Sports Composite rankings has also caught the eye of several teams. The offers aren't all there just yet, but it's still very early for both of these players. Offering early and highlighting the contributions of the Georgians on the current roster could help get Penn State in good position here early with both prospects.

2018 Commit 4-Star LB Jesse Luketa (Mercyhurst Prep, PA)

Checking in on the DEfensive End Targets

The three big remaining names on the board for Penn State at defensive end in the 2018 class are Jayson Oweh, Tyreke Smith, and Micah Parsons.

During the bye week, James Franklin took the time to head out to New Jersey to check in on his arguably top target, Jayson Oweh.

While he was doing that, Tyreke Smith decided to use his weekend free time to take a visit down to Alabama.

There isn't much indication that Smith will go anywhere other than Penn State or Ohio State, but Alabama is always a tempting offer.

Got a Hockey Croot!

As strange as the football recruiting world is, the hockey recruiting world may be even stranger. Penn State hockey received a commitment from a 15-year old Dane Dowiak who won't be on campus for another 4 years or so. College hockey is wild.
