2019 Ol Gets an offer
Warwick, Rhode Island's Xavier Truss (Bishop Hendrickson HS) showed off in underclassman work at this past weekend's Army All-America Game in San Antonio. The 247Sports national recruiting team was there and put Truss on their first-team of prospects from the Combine.
The Warwick (R.I.) Bishop Hendricken offensive tackle had one of the best frames in the building, was smooth in testing and a force in 1-on-1s. Keep an eye on Penn State offering in the near future.
Pretty soon after, you could guess what happened:

Truss also picked up offers from Rutgers and Maryland over the past week. The 6-foot-7, 325-pounder will certainly be a priority for Penn State's 2019 recruiting class.
Other Army a-a game news
Penn State's 2018 signee Micah Parsons was also in San Antonio for the Army All-America Game and had himself a week. The Harrisburg standout mauled offensive lineman and quarterbacks during practices leading up to the game and had a great game as well. Steve Wiltfong from 247Sports:
The most alpha-male reps of the week came from Penn State’s five-star linebacker/defensive end signee Micah Parsons who had two strip, fumble takeaways from the quarterback during Tuesday’s practice that were among the most memorable plays of the entire week. When the Harrisburg (Pa.) High standout has his chinstrap buckled up and ready to play, he’s arguably the most talented player in the country. He plays with a different kind of physicality than his peers and could shine as a defensive end or second-level defender on the next level. On Saturday, Parsons made a stop in the background and nearly picked off another pass that would’ve likely gone the other way for six.
After his week in Texas, it was time for the early enrollee to set up shop at his new home for the next four years:
Finally home!! Thank you Penn State!!! #weare ready to work !
