The saga of Harrisburg's Shaquon Anderson-Butts has taken another turn. The one-time Penn State commit signed a Letter of Intent to play at JUCO power Iowa Western earlier this month, but that plan appears to be off. The three-star athlete tweeted on Saturday that he plans to enroll at Milford Academy.
Anderson-Butts originally committed to Penn State in July 2017. However, after not signing during the early period in December, questions remained about his future plans.
By opting to play at Milford, as Harrisburg native Lesean McCoy did over 10 years ago, Anderson-Butts will maintain his full four years of eligibility upon enrolling in an FBS program. With Penn State expected to take a smaller class in 2019, there will be plenty of intrigue about whether the Nittany Lions pursue the former commit.
